Most of the plays performed during the Drama Festival are compiled and directed by the students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The festival has become an important showcase of USTB' s humanistic education and seeks to promote the cultivation of students' artistic character. So far, the Drama Festival has been successfully held for 14 times. In March 2017, it won the gold medal of the first “Excellent Brand Activity of University Quality Education” from the Quality Education Research Association of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, contributing to the vigorous development of campus drama and the formation of a strong campus cultural atmosphere.
