USTB Signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Tongzhou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality

The Beijing City Sub-center Optimization Business Environment and “Haidian-Tongzhou Districts” Construction Promotion Conference was held at the Beijing International Fortune Center. At the meeting, USTB and the Tongzhou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement of Tongzhou Government and USTB. Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Tongzhou District Committee, and District Mayor ZHAO Lei, Director of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress Li Yujun, Chairman of the District People’s Congress ZHAO Yuying, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee LIU Dongwei, President YANG Renshu, Vice President ZHANG Weidong, etc. attended the ceremony.
At the promotion conference, 36 “high-precision” enterprises and institutions including China Chemical, PWC, Bank of China and other large central enterprises, listed companies, foreign companies, universities and financial institutions completed project contracts with the city’s sub-center providing regional economic and social support.
ZHANG Weidong signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of USTB. It is reported that this agreement is the first strategic cooperation agreement signed by the Tongzhou District Government with a university this year. The school and the Tongzhou District People’s Government will actively implement the strategic cooperation agreement signed, fully integrate superior resources, closely focus on the functional positioning of the Beijing city sub-center, and strengthen the district-school cooperation in strategic decision-making consultation, technological innovation and achievement transformation, and talent exchange. To promote the expansion and opening of the national service industry comprehensive demonstration zone according to high standards and high quality, USTB and Tongzhou Government work together for China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone International Business Service Area Tongzhou group construction and USTB “double first-class” construction.
After the meeting, president of USTB YANG Renshu and his entourage went to Zhangjiawan Design Town to visit and investigate, and listened to the explanations of relevant units. YANG Renshu said that the town’s location is unique, and its design capabilities have reached corresponding level and scale, which can well drive the development and transformation of the sub-center economy.
