The USTB Held the Launching Ceremony and the First Report of the Intellectual Manufacturing Master Forum

On the morning of June 23rd, the launching ceremony and the first report of the Intellectual Manufacturing Master Forum at USTB was grandly held in the Academic Conference Hall. Prof. HU Zhenghuan, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and all leaders of the School of Mechanical Engineering attended the event. More than 200 teachers and students of the School attended the event. Mr. SU Dong, Chancellor of the School of Mechanical Engineering, presided over the launching ceremony.
First, Mr. SU Dong introduced the leaders and guests attending the meeting. He stated that the purpose of the Forum is to create a better academic atmosphere for scientific research, provide a platform for teachers and students to broaden their horizons and understand the frontier information of national scientific and technological manufacturing development, promote the concise personal research directions, and determine future goals.
Prof. MA Fei, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, introduced the origin of the name and the connotation of the logo of the Intellectual Manufacturing Master Forum in his speech.
At the launching ceremony, Prof. HU Zhenghuan, Mr. SU Dong and Prof. MA Fei jointly pressed the launching ball, which officially launch the first report of the Intelligent Manufacturing Master Forum.
Then, Prof. HU Zhenghuan gave a report entitled “the Rolling Technology Research, Development and Industrialization of High-Efficiency and Green Shaft Parts”. In his report, he represented his decades of scientific research experience in the field of shaft parts rolling technology from technical crafts to application and promotion, and he also shared the research and industrialization achievement of the school’ s parts rolling technology team in various fields.
The report ended in the warm applause of teachers and students. All teachers and students attending the event said that they benefited a lot from the report of Prof. HU Zhenghuan, which not only learned more about the research achievement of parts rolling technology, but also gained valuable life perception. They hope to continue to learn from Prof. HU Zhenghuan in their future research and study, and climb the peak of scientific research with a continuous attitude of exploration.
In the next step, the School of Mechanical Engineering will invite more people to participate in the Intellectual Manufacturing Master Forum, to further broaden the horizons of teachers and students, strengthen the creation of an academic atmosphere, and to help the university improve the scientific research and talent training.
