The Office of International Affairs Visited the Beijing Institute of Technology for Communication and Exchange

On March 21st, to further promote the international construction of USTB, strengthen communications and exchange with international offices among different universities, and get experience from them, Mr. LI Baoming and Ms. LI Bei, Associate Directors of the USTB OIA, led a delegation to visit the International Office at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) for communication and exchange. Ms. WANG Ying, Director of the BIT International Office, Mr. MAO Yufeng, Associate Director of the BIT International Office, and relevant personnel participated in the symposium.
The symposium
At the symposium, Ms. WANG Ying introduced the working concepts, measures, and experiences of BIT focusing on global cooperation and internationalization strategy. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on international affairs management, joint degree programs with global partners, management of teachers and students traveling aboard, and international exchange of students. Participants from the two sides exchanged their experiences and practices.
This trip is conducive to the overall planning of the next stage of work, further improving the capability of the Office of International Affairs, accelerating internationalization construction, and to better-providing support for USTB's "Double First-class" construction. Both the USTB OIA and the IO of BIT will take this trip as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation, complement each other's advantages, and jointly improve, so as to promote the high-quality development of the international affair works.
