USTB Teacher Wins First Prize in Capital University Physical Education Teaching Competence Competition

Hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and organized by the Federation of University Sports of Beijing, the Capital University Physical Education Teaching Competence Competition was held at the Wei Xue Venue of Department of Sports Science and Physical Education of Tsinghua University on July 3rd. The competition is registered by division, and each division has 3 seats. A total of 27 universities from 9 different division took part in the competition.
OUYANG Ting, a youth teacher from the Department of Sports at USTB, participated in the municipal level competition as the 1st place of division 2. After a day of competition, she won the First Prize in the Competition.
The Department of Sports at USTB attached great importance in preparation for the competition over the past month. From simulated lessons, course preparation, teaching plan, PPT making, class presentation and other contents, to clothing collocation,, interactions between teacher and students, how to raise a question, how to maintain the pace of teaching, how to elaborate language and other aspects, those collaboration effort reflects the united work style of the Department of Sports.
Based on the result of the competition, the Department of Sports will continue to sum up experiences and strengthen learning, further innovate teaching methods and optimize teaching process, constantly improve the teaching ability of faculties from Department of Sports, earnestly implement the fundamental task of moral education, and make greater contributions to the USTB “Double First-Class” construction, as well as to the physical and mental health of all teachers and students.
