USTB and China Tungsten High-tech Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

On November 24th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) and China Tungsten & High-tech Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Tungsten High-tech”) was held in the Administration Building.
At the meeting, Prof. YANG Renshu, President of USTB, expressed his hope that the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages and characteristics in order to establish a long-term, stable, comprehensive and in-depth strategic cooperation relationship for the sustainable development of tungsten resources and material application, as well as the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, so as to make positive contributions to the development of Beijing as a science and technology innovation center.
Mr. LI Zhongze, on behalf of China Tungsten High-tech, expressed his gratitude to USTB for its long-term support and introduced the progress his company has made in scientific and technological innovation in recent years. He pointed out that in the fields of minerals, smelting, materials and tools, and intelligent manufacturing, China Tungsten High-tech relies on the discipline advantages of USTB to solve problems faced by each link of the industrial chain. At the same time, the two sides will carry out in-depth talent exchanges to help the "double top-class" construction of USTB and the development of China Tungsten High-tech.
The two sides also discussed the strategic development direction of school-enterprise cooperation, integration of industry and education, and deepening coordination in the new era. According to the agreement, the two sides will continue to deepen scientific research cooperation by jointly building a laboratory for the sustainable development and material application of tungsten resources, and actively build a talent training platform by jointly implementing a top-notch innovative talent training plan with a global vision.
Representatives from the CPC Committee, President’s Office, Institute of Science and Technology, School of Civil and Resources Engineering, Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, etc. and the heads of relative departments of China Tungsten High-tech attended the signing ceremony.
