The Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage Charity Activity was held in USTB. The event is organized by Department of Public Affairs & Communications of USTB, Heritage Base of Traditional Metal Technology of USTB, Institute of Cultural Heritage and History of Science & Technology of USTB, School of Energy and Environmental Engineering of USTB, and Beijing Society of Thermal Physics and Energy Engineering.
The activity was well organized, and a constant flow of teachers and students participated in it. Eight successors of intangible cultural heritage on site demonstrated the distinctive intangible cultural heritage through physical display, introduction of publicity board,explanation of intangible cultural heritage knowledge, exchange of experience and other forms. During the event, many teachers and students experienced the intangible cultural heritage production skills of Wangzhihe Bean-curd Rubbing, Cloisonne Painting, The Forbidden Palace Gold Mouth Purse, Hand-painted Blue and White Porcelain, Hand-painted Classical Fan, Hand-tie Dye, Filar Inlaying, and Sword Forging, etc. They said that through this activity, they had personally felt the artistic charm of intangible cultural heritage. If they had the chance, they hoped to have in-depth with the successors of intangible cultural heritage and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
